Our Camping Trip to Wales

We went to North Wales in July. It was so fun!!! Let me tell you about it:

We got in the car at about 10 AM, after about two and a half hours of packing in the rain!!! Then we started off. It was about 2 and a half hours to get to the campsite where we had planned to stay at. Here's a picture of me, Jenny and Jimmy - and you can just see David in the back - with a WALL between him and the camping stuff (thanks Dad)!! And you can see mom's eye too...!! You can also see that I've arranged my blankets and pillows and things so that I'm really comfy in there...

When we finally got there, we were really tired - and just about ready to get to that stage where we start getting a bit restless, and start having arguments. We stopped the car at the gate, and waited while daddy went into the information centre to sign us in. We waited and waited, then waited some more. Dad came out, but then he beckoned for mommy to come in too. Finally daddy came out again with mommy, and started to go back to the car, but then a man appeared, and said, "are you going to give us a bad review?" Daddy just said, "we'll see how it goes from here."

Then all three of them went back into the information centre. I could see that something was wrong. We waited some more, then mom came out looking very flustered. I asked her what was wrong, but she just said to wait.😒 So I did. Then daddy came out looking a bit angry, and we started to drive off. He was talking to mommy, and I just about caught this:
Mom: "What happened? did he think we were going to give him a bad review?"
Dad: "Yes. When I came back to try and work something out, he started saying bad words at me, and then he threatened me. He was basically saying get off my property."

"What is it? Where are we going?" I interrupted. "We're going to have to find a new campsite," dad answered. We all sighed. Then we stopped the car, and daddy got out. He came back a few minutes later, and before mom could ask what had happened, dad said, "he threatened me." I gasped. "Why?" "I went back to the campsite," dad went on, "and I tried to find out his name, but the man (who was probably the boss) basically said get off my property. He started swearing at me and then he just said 'I know your address, you're the one who's going to have a bad outcome.' That's a threat. I could just report him to the police." "Then why don't you?" I asked, feeling angry. "Because the bible says to not repay evil with evil," daddy replied. "O-o-o-h," I said. Then mommy looked on a camping site website and she said, "how about this one?" When daddy said yes, she called the owners, and they said it was fine for us to stay there. So we drove another 2 and a half hours to our 'new' campsite. On the way, we stopped at Asda to get supplies (food etc.) We also got some raspberry flavored ice-lollies, which we enjoyed a lot!!! 😋
Here's a picture of David, Jimmy, Jenny and me enjoying our lollies: (yaaaay 😏 I'm in my own picture!!)

By the time we were there, we were all ready to drop off to sleep. It was a beautiful place, with a HUGE field for the tents and caravans, and the owners were SO friendly!!!
Here are some more pictures of the campsite landscape:

We quickly put the tent up, and then cooked some sausages on our camping stove.
Here are some more pictures:

Then we played for a little while, and made two new friends, Matthew (9) and Charlotte (8). Then at 9 PM, me and David went to sleep.

The next day was sunny. We had pancakes and bacon for breakfast, (here's a picture:)

and then we went to a National Trust place. It was a pretty house, with little gardens all around it. Here are some pictures from it:

And here's Jenny, and the beautiful view on the way there:

After that, we went geocaching. We had found one that was (supposedly) next to a post box, but we couldn't find that one, 😔 so we had to look for another one. (We have this geocaching app that it especially for finding geocaches - here's the link: https://www.geocaching.com) Well, we found that one, which was good, because daddy was starting to get flustered over it, (he even had to drop us off at an overcrowded beach, so that he could drive off to get some internet - because you need internet to see the hint to find the geocache. Yes, we did need a hint!!)
Then, before we went to bed, mommy, me and David climbed the big hill that was really close to us. It was very fun!! Here are some pictures of us when we got to the top:

All in all, it was a very busy day!!!

The next day, we all decided to go on a hike up a big hill. It was really fun (and very tiring!!), but the best bit was when we stopped. I almost shouted out loud; it was so breathtakingly wonderful!!! (I don't even know if breathtakingly is a word) Here are three pictures of the awesome view:

On the way there though, we walked down into this place that was covered by a clump of trees, which had a mini waterfall in it. It was nice and cool - as the whole way had been right in the sunshine. That little place is also where my Blogger profile picture comes from - it's me sitting on a branch over the water!!! Here it is:

There was also a pebbly beach there too, and we all collected some pebbles from is as souvenirs.
Here are me and Jenny on the pebbly beach:

When we stopped, we all sat down in the long grass, and mommy gave us all one of our home-made sweets. But then daddy broke the quiet by saying "Oh - there's a tick," resulting in us all jumping up in alarm!!!
We had to check everyone for ticks after that, but as no one had any ticks except dad, we thought we were ok. But then we got home, and we found 2 ticks on Jenny, so we had to check everyone for ticks AGAIN. But nobody had any more, so the only people that actually had ticks were dad and Jenny.
Anyway, the day after that we went home!! (we started at about lunch time, and got home at dinner time)

Well, that was my camping story, so I hope you liked it!!!
