Our Christmas Trip!!!

On December 23rd, 2017, we woke up super early, packed the car as quickly as we could, and started to drive to our grandparent's house. We were going to spend Christmas and Boxing Day there.
My most favorite present was a red Canon IXUS (a really good camera), which has enabled me to take loooads of cool pictures of AFTER we got there.
So, are you ready?
Here we go..
 Pumpkin pie..

Cool Macro of curtain...

Look what we saw when we were out for a walk!!!!!!
(the actual cat is next to the sign...!)

We saw this weird birch tree too - did someone try to burn it??

The park :)

Look at this pretend fir tree branch in a real tree!!

Don't eat these berries...

Here's Barney again with his special boots Grandma made for him - he has a problem with his claws so he has to wear them 😢)

I found this pregnant cat on their street and it made friends with me immediately 😊😸

Boxing Day tea...

Everybody enjoyed it....
....even Jenny.
Especially David!!!

(I do not know why I took a picture of this fork..Macro?)

Here's the dessert. YUM!!

Jimmy LOVED it.

I really liked the fairy cakes :)

Real candle..

Here's their pretend fireplace.

Jimmy, the ultimate show producer!!!

MACRO!!!

Anyway, I bet you're thinking I took a LOT of pictures...I mean, seriously..!
Well, the day after boxing day, we got ready to leave. It was fun packing, but sad too...

Before...

After!

This is what our grandparent's house looked like on the day we left...

Well, we did leave, finally, and then started on our journey! We weren't going home YET...
first we were going to our cousin Nadia's house to spend the night! It was a long and dreary trip...

but...Jimmy enjoyed it at least!!!

This is Jenny trying to smile, but failing because she's so tired...(no offence, Jenny!)

It was snowing so HARD!!

This is me trying to take a macro of raindrops on my window...

Yep - Jimmy really enjoyed the trip!!!

On the way we stopped at a services place, and went to the toilet. It was soooooooo crowded!!
David is trying to keep his head from exploding here.

I took pictures of all the kinds of Percy Pigs there were in M&S (It was right next to the toilets, so it was where we waited while the others finished their toilet breaks)

Look how crowded it was!!!!

Well, we finally arrived at our cousin's house, and immediately we all loved it.
They have two cats (which I loved, and will show you in a minute) and Uncle Phillip showed Dad ang the boys his study, which has six computers...

And two 3D printers.
He also had a fidget spinner which spun for 3:29 secs!

Anyway, here are some pictures of my favorite cat they had.
Her name is Athena like our gerbil!!

Here's our cousin Nadia hugging her.

They had a nice Christmas tree...

Here is Nadia again with the snowman she made!

They had pretty lights in the front, too.

This is supposed to be a reindeer - I don't think he eats much...do you?

More lights...

They had Nerf guns, too - which David enjoyed!!!

I love these flowers!!!!!!!!

Me and Nadia made crowns :)

Here are all of us with our crowns on...

This is Nadia on mine and Jenny's sofa bed in their living room.

The people across the road had AMAZING lights -

Here is their other cat, Shadow!
(Shadow is much shyer than Athena - as you can see!!!)

This is what the puddles were like when we went
on a walk together the next day!

We walked down a canal...

..it was beautiful!

Mom and Aunt Lisa....

This is Nadia holding a piece of ice...

Here are the locks.

And this is a small river that ran under the path!

Nadia again :)

*so    beautiful*

COWS

Another cool frozen puddle

Um...hello!

Nadia on a bridge over the train tracks!

Notice the grass in the corner - it has the sun on it so it's melted!

Mmmm - lunch!

Athena again!

Ahem...sorry about the lighting...tilt your screen
or look up and you can see Shadow...

Then we had to leave :(
It was beautiful on the way home though!

It was dark before we got back -
I took some long exposure photos of the cars to pass the time.

Aren't they cool?

Umm...that's the moon.
(Never take photos in the car if it's a bumpy road!)

Well, that's all, folks! Thank you so much for waiting...
 Bye!!
